The Mechanical Room

In a Rusch projects custom home every room is just as important as the next including the mechanical room. Our mechanical rooms are organized, clean and thought out. We take the time to place the equipment in the best possible location. We look for trades who are willing to put in the time and detail to work to our level of standard – running lines straight and neatly, labeling each line and aware of what has to come next. In these luxurious homes we start by putting plywood on the mechanical room walls, which we generally paint grey. Once this is done it provides a clean backdrop for all the equipment to come. Working together with our trades we then decide where to place the furnaces, boiler, hot water tank, electrical and low voltage panels, water trees, water softeners and any other equipment. Below are some photos of mechanical rooms done by us, notice all the neat waterlines and boiler system done by the plumber. The floor is finished with a grey paint to tie it all together.
